Prices are ridiculous. A mushroom and Swiss burger was $8.99 on the menu. Ok fine. I asked to substitute the chips it comes with for 'beer battered fries'. The waiter said it would be a minor up charge. Again, fine. When the fries came out they weren't beer battered. They were just regular fries. I sent them back and the manager said that they were in fact beer battered. See picture. When I got they bill they charged me $3.00 to 'upgrade' from chips to fries. Absolutely ridiculous. Waiter was very nice about it, but overall this restaurant has many kinks to work out. I also had fried pickles for $6.99 which were good, but definitely not enough for the price.

Best Pizza in Bay City, MI...Make sure to print your coupons or they won't honor them. Aside from that, they are very fast and reasonably priced. Don't waste your time on pizza anywhere else in town.

Ordered a BLT! There was i think 3 or 4 picess of bacon in it. If i wasnt with the family members i was with, i would of went off on them for all the bread and no BACON, all lettuce and tomatoe !

Horrible service and crazy long wait on food. The quality has really gone down on their pizza. Used to love their BLT pizza but not anymore. Tables sat dirty until someone was seated at them which just looks bad. No one had a clue what was going on, water never refilled and table never cleared. Just all around a poor experience.

It's very dark in here. Hardly any natural light. Wait staff is indifferent. I'm used to the G's in Tawas so I'm hoping the pocket pizza will be similar. In the past the food was very good, but I'm testing it out again to see how it is.

We had pizza delivered from this restaurant to consume at a party nearby. It was delicious! Chain restaurants can't compare. The ingredients used were excellent. Delivery was on time. I can't wait to go back and try the gluten free crust next time.

I finally made it to G's. I grew up in the area and somehow never went to G's until this visit - why? I don't know. I do know that I'll be back though (especially now that Tommy V's is no more). Dined here over the holidays with my Mom (*she remembers going here thirty years ago!) and we had a delicious, cheese-filled lunch of Greek salad (long platter of shredded lettuce topped with beets, feta, onion, tomato with good house italian dressing), cheesy "spears" (aka mozz topped breadsticks), and a rather large pizza pocket (Greek - with feta, olives, broccoli, peppers, onion). We split everything we ordered, and it was a feast - we couldn't finish everything, which was sad, because everything was really good. The salad was huge, albeit pretty basic; the spears were hot, soft, chewy and covered in lots of cheese; the pocket was big! definitely fit for two. I'd like to try their standard pizzas and more from their menu next time... Prices were fair, food was good, service was quick - I enjoyed G's!

Pizza pockets and pizza are worth the visit. Not crazy good, but a solid traditional pizza. Much better than chain pizza. Also tried the Reuben. The meat was not special, but it was on a killer, crispy homemade bun. I would eat anything served in that bun with a smile on my face. A friend has told me the lasagna is great, but I haven't tried it yet. Menu was good and had lots of choices. Decor is dated but comfortable. Service was really good. A nice place to relax and have a decent meal.

As I'm from Chicago I would say this is one of the best places to eat in Bay City. The service was very attentive and friendly. We had the bruschetta which was very good. The bread was very fresh. We also had the personal pizzas. This type of crust is my favorite. Chewy with a little bit of crisp. The sauce was very good and the toppings were plentiful. Because this is a small town I'm giving it 5 stars.

The pizza and pizza pockets are still pretty good, but the service the past 3 times we have been here has been horrible. Our order was wrong on all three visits. Not just one of our orders, but both. After telling the waitress that what we received isn't what we ordered, she (not always the same waitress) either walks away before we can ask for it to be fixed, only offers to fix one of our wrong orders, or responds with anger/disbelief that we want our order fixed. It's unlikely we'll be back any time soon because the expensive pizza isn't good enough to deal with extremely poor service.

Great Pizza, great atmosphere. Only complaint is it is very loud when it's busy.

Nice Italian restaurant/pizzeria on downtown Bay City. Visited a few times during my stay in Bay City and thoroughly enjoyed their pocket pizzas every time (which is apparently what they are known for). Service was reasonable and food came out fairly quick, although there wasn't too many other customers there at the time. Prices are pretty cheap.

Waitstaff very prompt and friendly. Ordered a small BLT pizza. Crust was delicious, but the toppings consisted of mostly lettuce and tomatoes. The bacon and mayonnaise was almost nonexistent. Too many other great pizza choices in town to settle for bad pie.

Had some takeout after a long day and what a surprise. The Pizza was great, way better than I expected and the guy helping us was patient even with my wife changing her mind every 2 minutes, thanks.

ive tried a few things on the menu, ham & cheese sub, wet burrito, lasagna, all VERY good. the Pocket Pizza is still the best though ;) relatively cheap for the amount of food you get. the garlic spears are very very good. Service is always great and theyve got Keno! they have a good kids menu too! and a kid sized "pocket pizza ;)

Our final meal of the weekend was like most meals of the weekend - beer and pizza. Sunday night in Bay City, MI is not the liveliest of places but we did manage to find the local pizza spot open. G's Pizzeria is the go to spot and we had the place to ourselves at 9:30pm. We ordered a few pitchers, some cheesy bread and everyone went with the famous "pizza pocket." I tried to keep it relatively healthy with the vegetarian, but we all know that's just for show. The food wasn't bad, definitely not great, but nothing says Labor Day and Summer like sailing all day and pizza all night.

For the price, G's is a nice neighborhood restaurant to stop in and have dinner. Most people can find something they like there. For me, the garlic spears are the star and what keeps me coming back. Well, that and $3 wine on Thursday.

Some of the best pizza I have ever had. One was a veggie pie, the other a pepperoni with pesto sauce. Both were excellent; nice balance of sauce & toppings, excellent crispy crust with puffy edges. Good selection of beer. Went there off-peak, and we were served quickly; YMMV, of course.

Best pizza in town with no exceptions!!! I have never had a bad meal here and the prices are fair!!!

The pizza is SO FREAKIN' GOOD here! I've been by once when there were a number of people, but I've also been when I was the only person there... that part concerns me! Please don't let this pizza lose a footing in Saginaw! It's awesome to have a place that's open a little later...maybe I'm the only one around that eats dinner at 10pm, but having late night options outside of fast food is a lifesaver! And the $2.99 Cinnamon Twists...oh dear god...delicious!

I got a delivery order of a 10" pizza and a small side salad. I am starting to notice a trend in pizza joints in the area. They are good, but not great. I cannot complain about the food quality. I thought it was good, I enjoyed it, but I can't say it was great. I will say that not bringing plastic ware to a guy staying in a hotel is a little crazy, but whatever. Also, forgetting the dressing that goes with the salad is not cool. Anyways, the food itself was fine and I have no complaints. Maybe I should try one of their sandwiches. At least that is what a local told me.

Can you say dark and dank? My flatbread was soggy and the waitress never ask any of our party if we wanted refills on our drinks.
